My favourite part of Underwater World was the otter enclosure, which was home to 3 lively creatures. I didn't know much about them until that day, but discovered that they are very playful, social animals who are full of fun.
The walls around the enclosure were made of glass, and had an inwardly sloping piece of glass at the top to prevent people from putting their hands inside. I was determined to take some photos, so put my camera on auto-focus and held it over the glass wall, pointing down. I think the otters thought that I was offering food, because each time I did it they'd come over and lean against the wall to try to reach me.
This little otter cocked his head to one side after I took the first shot, probably confused about the flash. This was the second shot, and is my favourite of them all. I am crazy about these little guys now, they were adorable.

Great shot... I love otters. I find them to be amazing creatures and they're adorable. I love to watch them in their dinning rituals. Swimming on their back, laying a rock on their belly and crack clams... Ingenius. Creatures are much smarter then people give them credit for.
